Senior Hardware Installation Specialist – AMS/EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Provide training and oversight to rigging staff and installation engineers to facilitate effective training of engineers and conduct regular performance evaluations of installers and riggers.

• Offer second-level support for problem resolution, assist with request procedures, and deliver technical support to Riggers and Installers globally, both remotely and on-site, as required, in a prompt manner.

• Gather and evaluate feedback from the installation field and collaborate with relevant parties to enhance products, processes, and/or documentation.

• Participate in designated special projects, assist with New Product Introductions (NPI), and engage in non-clinical and PREP rigging and installations.

• Validate installation documentation as part of the NPI process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge and professional experience in electro-mechanical engineering, as well as machine assembly and disassembly.

• Strong understanding of software related to machine integration and associated network requirements.

• Proficient in the use of tools and testing equipment for the verification, servicing, and calibration of Varian Linear Accelerators and KV/MV imaging, specifically including Varian installation tools (IsoTuner, IC-Profiler, etc.), oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, mechanical measurement devices, along with relevant software tools.

• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and software-related issues.

• Experience in diagnosing and assisting with repairs of vacuum systems.

• Significant experience and knowledge related to complex upgrades as outlined in Varian's Service Technical Bulletins.

• Willingness to travel, primarily within the EMEA/AMS region, but also globally as necessary.
