Senior Golang Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Creating and developing applications utilizing Golang.

• Contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of components while ensuring adherence to personal technical quality standards within the project team.

• Aiding in the establishment of structured practices, particularly in source code management, building, and deployment.

• Designing and implementing solutions for data storage.

• Enhancing application performance for optimal speed and scalability.

• Gathering feedback from users and clients to construct tailored solutions.

• Assisting in the assessment of client requirements.

• Collaborating with and supporting Technical Leaders in executing projects and ensuring timely delivery.

• Working alongside client teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience at a Senior Engineer level, typically requiring at least 6 years of commercial experience.

• Hands-on experience delivering in an agile environment.

• Practical experience and knowledge in developing real-world solutions.

• Profound expertise in Golang.

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) is essential.

• Python proficiency is highly desirable.

• In-depth understanding of version control tools, such as Git.

• Experience in testing and familiarity with testing tools across all levels, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Practical experience working with databases and cloud environments.

• Familiarity with automation, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD).

• Experience in collaboratively building software using pull requests and code reviews.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Professional proficiency in English.
