This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

• Define and enhance the overall system architecture for the platform.

• Design distributed systems that are scalable, secure, and resilient to faults.

• Take the lead on architectural decisions concerning real-time communication, data persistence, and service orchestration.

• Create and uphold architecture documentation, ADRs (Architecture Decision Records), and technical roadmaps.

• Assess and recommend technological options for new features and enhancements to the platform.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

• Perform architecture reviews and code assessments for essential components.

• Establish and uphold coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.

• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

• Prototype and implement intricate technical solutions as necessary.

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues in production environments.

• Optimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization.

• Over 10 years of experience in software development.

• More than 5 years in architecture or senior technical leadership positions.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with WebRTC or real-time communication systems.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with GCP or a comparable cloud platform.

• Demonstrated success in designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.

• Experience in healthcare or regulated industry applications is preferred.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Relevant certifications are advantageous: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD).
