• Execute payroll transactions, perform special calculations, update employee records, collaborate with partners, prepare journal entries, and oversee time and labor systems while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
• Retrieve reports, work alongside HR, carry out audits, and relay findings to Senior Management.
• Maintain compliance with SOX regulations for payroll by establishing and upholding secure procedures and consistently following internal controls.
• Address all payroll-related concerns for both external and internal stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Identify and develop process improvement initiatives and action plans for critical projects, including Benefit Compliance, Global Mobility Compliance, and Payroll Tax Compliance.
• Oversee all vendor relationships and offer best practice process solutions that can enhance process performance from both a Vendor and Process perspective.
• Requires a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience with full life cycle payroll in a global organization, accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with no experience; or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment, preferably within the tech industry.
• Timeliness: Exceptional deadline management abilities with the capacity to guide cross-functional collaborators toward a resolution within a specified timeline.
• Prioritization: Outstanding project management skills with the ability to handle numerous competing requests from cross-functional partners.
• Proficient in managing large datasets; extensive experience with Excel.
• Must be open to utilizing tools and technology; familiarity with Paylocity, Workday, and Intacct is preferred.
