Senior Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Analyze and document functional requirements.

• Develop functional analyses, business rules, and acceptance criteria.

• Assist the Product Owner with backlog management and prioritization.

• Decompose requirements into user stories and testable specifications.

• Engage in functional validations, testing, and reviews of deliverables.

• Assess the impact of changes on processes and systems.

• Promote communication among users, analysts, and developers.

• Revise functional documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in information resources.

• Extensive experience in functional analysis.

• Background in web application projects.

• Experience in an Agile working environment.

• Proficient in clearly articulating requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Strong communication skills with both technical and business teams.

• Expertise in functional analysis, requirements documentation, and business rules.

• Ability to define user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Experience in functional testing and validation of deliverables.

• Skilled in functional documentation and process modeling.

• Capable of facilitating workshops and managing requests.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Boards or similar backlog management tools.

• Experience with transactional platforms.

• Knowledge in UX, user journeys, BPMN, or UML.

• Understanding of privacy and data protection concerns.

• Experience in the public sector.

• Availability for contract assignments or resource pool/bench, tailored to client needs.

• Primarily remote position with flexibility to coordinate based on intervention requests.
