Commercial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the coordination of quarterly Weaver QAP audits and ensure the integrity of data for prompt and precise reporting of audit materials.

• Organize and manage communication among various RNG stakeholders, including partners, utilities, landfill owners, and other commercial entities.

• Develop and enhance market access for environmental attributes and renewable commodities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to formulate commercial strategies for renewable energy initiatives, encompassing pricing, contract negotiations, and risk management.

• Systematize and preserve the repository of commercial agreements and notifications.

• Monitor established and emerging regulatory matters as they relate to current and future renewable energy projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Over 2 years of experience in financial analysis within the energy sector, with familiarity in RNG projects considered an advantage.

• Experience in deal-making is a bonus; must be comfortable with contract terms and negotiations.

• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to achieve objectives and deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment.
