This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Deliver functional support for a range of enterprise applications, such as Oracle Financials, Coupa, CoStar, OneSource, Diligent Boards, eSignature platforms, and various other corporate SaaS solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve application-related issues while collaborating with internal technical teams and software vendors.
• Oversee application configurations, security roles, workflows, and business rules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gain insights into business objectives, requirements, and process challenges.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and convert business needs into functional solutions.
• Create functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and solution documentation.
• Manage testing activities including planning, execution, defect tracking, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Serve as a functional product owner for designated applications.
• Handle enhancement backlogs and application roadmaps.
• Assess vendor releases and suggest adoption strategies.
• Engage in vendor relationship management and product evaluations.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Compliance teams.
• Assist in periodic audits through documentation, control evidence, and subject matter expertise.
• Take part in security reviews, access governance efforts, and application risk assessments.
• Support user access reviews and Segregation of Duties (SoD) assessments.
• Aid in remediating audit findings, control deficiencies, and compliance risks.
• Champion process improvement initiatives through the effective use of technology.
• Identify opportunities to minimize manual tasks, enhance data quality, and boost operational efficiency.
• 7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Enterprise Applications Analyst.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience in providing support for enterprise SaaS and cloud applications within a corporate setting.
• Demonstrated success in leading application implementations, enhancements, and business process improvement projects.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation, business process analysis/mapping, and functional solution design.
• Experience with testing activities, including the creation of test cases, execution, defect management, and UAT coordination.
• Strong foundation in change management, stakeholder communication, and application lifecycle management.
• Understanding of financial/accounting principles and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Nice to Have: Experience with Oracle Financials and/or Coupa.
• Experience in Product Management or as a Product Owner in Agile environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise integrations, APIs, SQL, and data analysis.
• Experience with automated testing tools and software vendor management.
• Knowledge of SOX, audit, security, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven capability to collaborate with Information Security, Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance teams.
• Experience utilizing AI-driven tools and technologies to enhance workflows, improve analysis, and support business goals.
