Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend applications, microservices, and APIs that support high scalability and performance.

• Integrate third-party services and external APIs to enhance the functionalities of the platform.

• Ensure that backend systems are secure, well-documented, and rigorously tested.

• Create, test, and deploy client-facing features that are ready for production.

• Collaborate effectively within a cross-disciplinary, remote Product Engineering team.

• Communicate proficiently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend goals and translate them into technical architecture and requirements.

• Adopt a collaborative, data-driven, and iterative methodology for product development.

• Estimate the scope and timelines for product development.

• Be ready to contribute to various components of the stack as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge and experience with cloud-based services, service design patterns, data structures, and data integrations.

• A collaborative and client-oriented approach to API design.

• Proficiency in modern technologies such as NodeJS/Typescript (or similar languages), AWS, Terraform, and React.

• Strong comprehension and appreciation for all layers of a production system, including data management, internal and external integrations, testing, and user-facing clients.

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure is essential.

• Prior experience in building highly scalable and efficient backend services is highly preferred.

• Background in a fast-paced, hypergrowth, and collaborative environment is desired.

• Experience in healthcare or virtual care is preferred, with FHIR experience being a plus.

• An understanding of web/mobile use cases and a readiness to engage in different parts of the stack when required.
