Senior Full-Stack Engineer, React, Next.js, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality code that prioritizes scalability while assisting in the design and creation of resilient systems and large-scale applications aimed at consumers.

• Collaborate effectively as a team member, conducting code reviews, sharing your knowledge to assist others, and working harmoniously with colleagues.

• Play a pivotal role in enhancing the client's end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure speed and efficiency, all while adhering to industry-standard best practices.

• Engage with the entire technology stack utilizing Next.js (version 13 or newer), React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Material UI, REST APIs, SQL, and more.

• Assist in the design and development of new applications, features, and workflows to enhance the customer experience, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with a minimum proficiency level of B2-C1 (over 90%) and exceptional communication abilities.

• At least 5 years of experience in a professional software engineering role.

• A minimum of 2 years working on consumer-facing applications.

• Proven experience in developing modern Full-Stack applications with a strong focus on Front-End development and a solid understanding of backend development.

• Expertise in Next.js (version 13+), React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).

• Strong proficiency in SQL, REST APIs, and backend integrations.

• Capable of translating business requests into actionable steps to achieve targeted outcomes.

• Experience in designing complex software projects, formulating project plans, monitoring progress, and guiding the team through project execution in a collaborative manner.

• Ability to grasp and comprehend the overarching structure of how various systems interact with each other.
