Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Node, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scalable backend services to accommodate a burgeoning user ecosystem.

• Assist in platform strategy and ensure long-term product upkeep.

• Craft and execute advanced software solutions that effectively balance performance and maintainability.

• Collaborate with diverse engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on product objectives.

• Deploy and oversee applications and services leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies.

• Engage in thorough code reviews to maintain engineering best practices.

• Contribute to frontend projects and mobile-responsive functionalities as necessary.

• Enhance engineering efficiency and developer experience through contemporary tooling and automation practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in professional software engineering, preferably in startup or dynamic scale-up settings.

• Strong expertise in backend development using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Solid skills in React for frontend development.

• Demonstrated experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• In-depth knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and architectural concepts.

• Practical experience in building and maintaining scalable production applications supporting over 100k users.

• Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure, including EKS and Lambda.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform.

• Experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices is advantageous.

• Experience with React Native or insight into native mobile development is highly desirable.

• Excellent English communication skills and experience in Agile work environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex distributed systems.
