Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Node, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain scalable backend services to accommodate an expanding user ecosystem.

• Support the platform's strategic direction and long-term product upkeep.

• Create and execute advanced software solutions that prioritize both performance and maintainability.

• Collaborate with diverse engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on product objectives.

• Deploy and oversee applications and services using contemporary cloud technologies.

• Engage in thorough code reviews and maintain engineering best practices.

• Assist in frontend projects and mobile-responsive features as needed.

• Enhance engineering efficiency and developer experience through modern tools and automated approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in startup or rapidly growing scale-up settings.

• Strong backend development skills with Node.js and TypeScript.

• Solid expertise in React for frontend development.

• Proven experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB).

• Comprehensive understanding of software design principles, data structures, and system architecture.

• Practical experience in building and maintaining scalable production applications with over 100k users.

• Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure, including EKS, Lambda, and EKS.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices is an advantage.

• Experience with React Native or exposure to native mobile development is highly desirable.

• Advanced English communication skills and experience in Agile environments.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex distributed systems.
