Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Create and improve product features for both frontend and backend applications utilizing React, TypeScript, and Express.

• Design effective data structures and enhance application performance leveraging MongoDB and Redis.

• Oversee infrastructure modifications and deployment workflows using Terraform and AWS ECS.

• Engage in code reviews, uphold high engineering standards, and contribute to overall code excellence.

• Analyze production issues, troubleshoot system performance, and implement sustainable enhancements.

• Work collaboratively with engineers to provide scalable and dependable solutions across the platform.

• Assume responsibility for features throughout the complete development lifecycle, from implementation to deployment and maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React, with a solid foundation in frontend engineering principles.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining Node.js / Express applications in live production settings.

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design and indexing methodologies.

• Working knowledge of Redis for caching, queuing, or pub/sub applications.

• Experience in deploying and managing services on AWS, ideally with ECS.

• Capability to work with infrastructure as code through Terraform.

• Strong grasp of Git and GitHub development processes.

• Ability to operate independently in a remote-first environment.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Preferred: Experience in gaming, casino, fintech, or other high-traffic industries.

• Additional frontend skills with Framer Motion animations or Canvas-based applications would be a plus.
