Senior Full Stack Developer, Cyber

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, and implement new features.

• Develop a Microservice Oriented Architecture and create reusable components.

• Write well-structured, efficient, and testable code while utilizing AI coding tools to expedite implementation, ensuring adherence to code quality standards, and conducting unit and integration tests.

• Evaluate performance and reliability to guarantee fast and accurate data processing.

• Identify code metrics and conduct necessary analyses, including code, requirements, system risk, and software reliability assessments.

• Address and rectify anomalies and issues as they arise.

• Test implemented features to ensure all acceptance criteria are satisfied.

• Review code and offer guidance to fellow engineers to ensure that software development prioritizes maintainability, performance, and security.

• Engage in projects from conception to launch.

• Advise the product owner on technological choices and decisions regarding developments.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development velocity, incorporating AI-assisted testing, automated deployment pipelines, and LLM-augmented code review practices.

• Assess the security and reliability implications of software design choices.

• Collaborate with the security team to embed security best practices within software development processes.

• Communicate risks related to any activity, technology, or processes as they are identified.

• Participate in incident response efforts and cooperate with infrastructure and security teams to investigate and resolve incidents.

⛳️ Requirements

• A strong alignment with our core values.

• Over 7 years of experience in Microservices development using Golang, Kotlin/Java, and Spring Boot.

• At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, specifically React and TypeScript.

• Proven daily engagement with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code or equivalent) to enhance development, alongside the ability to critically assess, refactor, and take ownership of AI-generated code.

• Demonstrated capability to function within Agile/Scrum delivery cycles, leveraging AI tools to enhance sprint velocity while maintaining documentation quality without introducing additional overhead.
