Senior Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services utilizing Python (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask) and Node.js frameworks (Next.js, Nest.js).

• Create responsive, modular, and maintainable front-end applications with React.

• Architect, implement, and enhance RESTful APIs for client-server communication.

• Engage with Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and devise efficient data models.

• Rigorously test and validate all code prior to handing it off to QA to ensure stability and reduce defects.

• Utilize AI development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to boost productivity and improve code quality.

• Produce clean, testable, and reusable code with comprehensive documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish requirements and deliver features from concept through to production.

• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

• Take part in code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional full stack development experience.

• Strong expertise in Python with experience in frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

• Robust front-end capabilities with React and familiarity with modern front-end development tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.).

• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks, including Next.js and Nest.js.

• Experience working with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM libraries.

• Knowledge of API design best practices, authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), and security principles.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude).

• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Pytest, Cypress).

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently within contract timelines.

• Understanding of microservices or serverless architecture.
