Senior Frontend Engineer, React, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain contemporary, scalable web applications utilizing React 18+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Tasked with constructing high-quality user interfaces and developing reusable, maintainable components.

• Connect frontend applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA personnel.

• Provide outstanding user experiences while ensuring application performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Apply frontend best practices and manage application state using tools like Redux Toolkit, Context API, or Zustand.

• Evaluate application performance metrics and engage in KPI assessments centered on user experience, page performance, and engagement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of software development experience with a strong emphasis on frontend engineering.

• Significant experience with React 18+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).

• Comprehensive understanding of state management solutions including Redux Toolkit, Context API, and/or Zustand.

• Experience in integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Proficient in frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.

• Familiarity with application monitoring, observability, and telemetry tools.

• Skilled in using testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and engaging in code reviews.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
