Senior Frontend Engineer, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Lead and manage frontend development within your value team, closely collaborating with PMs, designers, and backend engineers.

• Convert designs into production-ready user interfaces that prioritize accessibility, performance, thorough testing, and consistency with the overall product.

• Create prototypes to present functional code to customers for validating product concepts.

• Take ownership of web performance on the areas you influence, ensuring outstanding Core Web Vitals to enhance conversion rates.

• Advocate for accessibility throughout the platform (with WCAG 2.2 AA as the standard).

• Participate in architectural decisions that bridge frontend and backend, including API boundaries and real-time updates.

• Uphold shared standards within a React/TypeScript monorepo through code reviews and technical councils.

• Mentor junior engineers and play a key role in the advancement of the company's design system.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in writing production frontend code, with the last 3+ years at a senior level in a scale-up or start-up environment.

• Extensive experience with React and TypeScript, holding strong views on state management and component architecture.

• Strong understanding of web fundamentals: HTML semantics, modern CSS (Grid, Flexbox, container queries), browser rendering processes, and the network layer.

• Practical accessibility expertise, with the ability to identify WCAG issues during design reviews.

• Proficient in web performance, capable of measuring and optimizing Core Web Vitals on actual products.

• High level of testing maturity (including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests).

• Exceptional written and spoken English communication abilities.

• Bonus points for: Experience with large-scale monorepos, a background in logistics/marketplaces/B2B SaaS, contributing to design systems, incorporating AI-assisted features, or familiarity with Go.
