Senior Frontend Engineer, Mobile – React, AI-First

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Lead-level ownership of frontend and mobile development.

• Make independent architecture decisions with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.

• Develop production-ready applications utilizing TypeScript across both web and mobile platforms.

• Collaborate with GraphQL APIs and establish clear integration patterns among frontend, mobile, and API layers.

• Define scalable engineering methodologies using React, React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.

• Maintain application quality standards related to architecture, code structure, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience.

• Set the technical direction beyond mere implementation details.

• Establish and uphold quality standards for both AI-generated and manually crafted code.

• Leverage AI-first and agentic development workflows with tools such as Cursor and Claude to enhance delivery without sacrificing engineering standards.

• Convert ambiguous product requirements into definitive technical solutions.

• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across web and mobile platforms.

• Directly collaborate with clients to facilitate smooth communication and a comprehensive understanding of their requirements.

• Contribute to system design, performance strategies, testing methodologies, and engineering productivity.

• Utilize a fundamental understanding of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift when working with React Native integrations, debugging, or addressing platform-specific demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in React, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript.

• Significant experience with GraphQL APIs.

• Extensive experience in AI/ML or agentic development using tools like Cursor, Claude, or comparable technologies.

• Basic knowledge of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift.

• Proven track record in designing, developing, and maintaining production-level web and mobile applications.

• Strong grasp of performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall software quality.

• Demonstrated ability to make independent architecture decisions and guide technical direction.

• Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders.

• Availability for full-time work in a remote setting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 5 years of hands-on development experience.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both written and oral.

• Ability to pass a background check with positive references.
