Senior Frontend Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Drive the advancement of frontend architecture within Roof’s systems.

• Collaborate in a dynamic, cross-functional team that prioritizes excellence in execution.

• Engage in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to delivery.

• Partner with team members across functions to establish technical requirements.

• Write clean, efficient code to create functional web applications and reusable libraries.

• Develop and execute unit, functional, and acceptance tests.

• Diagnose and provide support for production applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Engineering role.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development.

• Advocate for agile methodologies and enjoys deploying code frequently and confidently.

• Proven ability to decompose complex problems into manageable solutions.

• Actively suggests initiatives to enhance our engineering technology and culture.

• Thrives in a collaborative setting where mutual growth is encouraged.

• Takes pride in ownership of the product and the quality of their output.

• Possesses excellent communication skills and values well-maintained documentation.

• Understands the challenges associated with the priorities of an early-stage company.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and the React + Redux framework.

• Familiarity with SCSS.

• Experience with RESTful API interactions.

• Background in developing frontend testing and automation systems for unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and user acceptance tests.
