Senior Frontend Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Drive the evolution of frontend architecture within Roof’s systems.

• Collaborate within a dynamic cross-functional team that prioritizes best practices.

• Contribute to an early-stage company that fosters an engineering-centric culture.

• Engage in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle, from planning through delivery.

• Work with cross-functional team members to define technical requirements.

• Produce clean code to create functional web applications and reusable libraries.

• Develop unit, functional, and acceptance tests.

• Troubleshoot and provide support for production applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Senior Engineering role.

• Over 5 years of software development experience.

• Advocate for agile methodologies, with a passion for frequently and confidently shipping code.

• Proven ability to decompose complex problems into incremental solutions.

• Actively suggest initiatives to enhance our engineering technologies and workplace culture.

• Thrive in a collaborative environment where mutual growth is encouraged.

• Take responsibility for the product and take pride in the quality of your work.

• Possess excellent communication skills and value the importance of thorough documentation.

• Comprehend the challenges associated with early-stage company priorities.

• Strong proficiency in Javascript and experience with the React + Redux framework.

• Familiarity with SCSS.

• Experience with RESTful API interactions.

• Skilled in developing frontend testing and automation frameworks for unit tests, integration tests, regression tests, and user acceptance tests.
