Senior Frontend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Create new user-facing features utilizing contemporary web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).

• Collaborate with designers to convert UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.

• Enhance applications for optimal speed and scalability.

• Ensure the technical viability of UI/UX designs and apply responsive design principles.

• Engage in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to connect frontend components with server-side logic.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance our frontend development practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Demonstrated experience as a Frontend Software Engineer or in a comparable role, with a robust portfolio of previous projects.

• Expertise in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).

• Familiarity with web performance optimization techniques and tools.

• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Capability to work independently as well as within a team setting.

• Bonus Points:

• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.

• Familiarity with backend development technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.).

• Understanding of web security best practices.

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, etc.).
