Senior Frontend Engineer, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

• Construct and advance shared component libraries and design-system assets utilized across various Mobility applications.

• Develop system designs and promote alignment across teams.

• Execute comprehensive automated testing strategies, encompassing unit, integration, end-to-end, load, and performance testing.

• Identify bottlenecks and technical debt; drive incremental improvements in scalability and stability.

• Create and enhance automation frameworks for testing, monitoring, auto-scaling, and continuous integration and deployment to expedite time to market.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and UX teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Perform code reviews (comment, approve, request revisions, merge), advocate for engineering best practices, and consistently elevate quality standards.

• Diagnose complex production issues, develop solutions, write root cause analysis documents, and ensure enduring performance and reliability.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation (design documents, run books, change management documents, and readiness plans).

• Provide live-site production support, ensuring quick incident resolution and fostering continuous improvement.

• Lead cross-team projects as a single-threaded owner (STO) or technical lead, while actively removing obstacles for other engineers to facilitate progress.

• Acquire hands-on experience with automation and AI-driven engineering solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms, object-oriented design, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as Angular (preferred) or React.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.

• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.

• Solid understanding of web security fundamentals, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.

• Familiarity with Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with an emphasis on user experience and maintainability.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities, alongside a collaborative and empathetic approach.
