Senior Front End Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• You will create high-quality software with complete end-to-end ownership — from the initial planning of a feature to ensuring its stability in production.

• You will take charge of the frontend features you develop — from the initial design discussions to their successful deployment and performance for real users.

• Develop features utilizing our existing component library — integrating shared components, maintaining well-structured and manageable code, and managing reactive state (NgRx / RxJS / signals) that remains predictable as the application expands.

• Manage the data layer of your features: design GraphQL queries for data retrieval and REST calls for data submission, deliberately handling loading, error, and empty states, and ensuring client state is consistently synchronized without race conditions or memory leaks.

• Enforce performance standards — bundle size, lazy loading, change-detection costs, and rendering efficiency — ensuring screens remain responsive on actual devices and connections, not just on your development environment.

• Consider accessibility and cross-browser/responsive behavior as integral to the definition of done, rather than an afterthought: semantic markup, keyboard and screen-reader support, and proper behavior across various breakpoints.

• Develop in accordance with the design system and contribute to its evolution — aligning closely with design intent, and enhancing shared components instead of creating one-off variations.

• Support your work with tests: unit tests for component and service logic, and Playwright E2E testing for the critical paths.

• Deploy features safely behind feature flags, monitor their performance in production (using Sentry, real usage), and take responsibility for issues from the shared triage queue that arise in your area.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including a senior-level role in a complex, multi-tenant SaaS environment.

• Extensive knowledge of Angular — component architecture, RxJS, reactive state management, and performance optimization at scale.

• Strong foundation in TypeScript and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.

• Experience with large monorepos (NX or similar) containing multiple applications.

• Proficient in using GraphQL for data retrieval and REST for data submission; familiarity with Apollo or a similar client is advantageous.

• A genuine passion for user experience, accessibility, and consistency within design systems.

• Experience with automated testing across various layers; familiarity with Playwright or similar E2E tools is a plus. Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) is an added benefit.

• Sound judgment in integrating AI into product interfaces; experience with OpenAI APIs or similar LLM platforms is a significant advantage.

• Up-to-date, practical expertise with agentic AI development tools throughout the entire lifecycle.
