Senior Front-end Developer, Web Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design and create responsive, accessible front-end functionalities utilizing React, HTML, CSS, and Browser APIs.

• Develop client-side logic and integrations as needed using contemporary JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.

• Construct and sustain components and pages for scalable web-based eCommerce platforms.

• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to decompose user stories into technical tasks and organize sprints.

• Take part in scrum ceremonies and engage in technical discussions.

• Conduct and participate in regular code reviews.

• Oversee and execute release processes to ensure smooth and controlled deployments.

• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve any problems following releases.

• Implement and enhance CDN and caching strategies.

• Operate within a distributed cloud environment leveraging AWS services and related infrastructure.

• Address challenges and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on senior-level front-end development.

• Proficiency in React and Next.js.

• Comprehensive understanding of HTML, CSS, and Browser APIs.

• Exceptional knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and Node.js.

• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as S3, ECS, EC2, Lambda, ALB, Route53, and CloudFormation.

• Experience in designing and implementing highly scalable web-based eCommerce solutions.

• Knowledge of CDN and caching technologies.

• Practical experience with CI/CD, production operations, and troubleshooting releases.

• Experience in an AI-native development environment utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

• Understanding of Spec-Driven Development.

• Strong ownership mentality with the capability to work with minimal daily supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including asynchronous communication in distributed teams.

• Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in sprint planning, technical design breakdowns, and Scrum ceremonies.

• Background in conducting code reviews and upholding code quality, performance, and coding standards.

• Experience in managing software releases and orchestrating controlled deployments.
