Senior Foundry Engineer – Data Pipelines, Ontology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop, enhance, and sustain data pipelines within Palantir Foundry.

• Integrate various healthcare data sources, such as clinical, claims, supply chain, and other enterprise datasets.

• Facilitate swift data onboarding to expedite ontology development and population.

• Design, construct, and refine ontology objects, properties, relationships, and data mappings in Palantir Foundry.

• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable data and ontology frameworks.

• Assist in ontology governance, version control, and adherence to best practices.

• Operate across Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, data integration workflows, and Foundry-based modeling activities.

• Contribute to a dynamic implementation environment where rapid iteration and practical delivery are essential.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience with Palantir Foundry.

• Proficient in using Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and data integration techniques.

• Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL.

• Experience in creating and optimizing data pipelines within complex enterprise data settings.

• Hands-on knowledge of ontology architecture, ontology modeling, data mapping, and ontology design patterns.

• Solid data modeling capabilities.

• Familiarity with complex healthcare, clinical, claims, supply chain, or regulated-industry data.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for essential onsite workshops in the Chicago or Houston area.

• Experience with Palantir AIP.

• Previous involvement in ontology acceleration projects, including auto-discovery or rapid ontology population.

• Background in the healthcare industry.

• Experience in regulated environments.
