This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepares financial analyses, reports, and recommendations for designated departments to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, and business planning efforts.
• Assesses and reviews departmental budget proposals, aiding in the creation of budget documents, reports, recommendations, and associated impact analyses.
• Develops, improves, and sustains financial models, forecasts, and analytical tools to ensure precise reporting, performance evaluation, and informed decision-making.
• Communicates anticipated and actual financial outcomes, including key assumptions, business drivers, trends, and variances.
• Assists department representatives in formulating budget requests, encompassing documentation, research, analysis, and budget impact assistance.
• Offers technical and analytical support regarding budget matters, forecasting activities, and business planning initiatives.
• Identifies, examines, and conveys financial issues that could affect business goals and provides suggested solutions for consideration.
• Aids audit processes through precise documentation, analysis, and timely submission of required information.
• Completes special projects, fulfills requests for financial data from business unit leaders, conducts ad hoc analyses, and manages line-of-business reporting.
• Collaborates with accounting, finance, compensation, and other internal teams to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business administration, general accounting, economic analysis, or a related field.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with a working knowledge of Word, financial systems, reporting tools, and related business software.
• Exceptional analytical, mathematical, financial modeling, and critical-thinking capabilities.
• Ability to independently analyze financial results, create supporting schedules, and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Proficiency in building budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Capability to perform comprehensive revenue analysis considering market conditions, new and lost business, producer incentives, and compensation factors.
