Senior Financial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver financial expertise related to DoW for the financial capabilities of enterprise-level logistics systems.

• Engage in the reengineering of transportation and financial business processes for the implementation of JTMS.

• Execute business process reengineering (BPR) activities for the development of financial use cases and process modeling.

• Evaluate financial or systems processes to identify automation and enhancement opportunities.

• Perform FMR research concerning policy-related issues.

• Provide guidance to teams regarding potential regulatory conflicts in the future state.

• Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for the formulation of business rules and process flows.

• Work collaboratively with program teams to convert requirements into Agile user stories.

• Ensure that future-state processes align with traceability and internal control requirements.

• Involve in user experience assessments, testing, training, and change management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 8 years of extensive experience in federal or DoW financial management.

• Significant expertise with DoW financial Transportation Account Code and G-Invoicing.

• Comprehensive knowledge of FMR content and advanced skills to conduct thorough FMR and FMR-referenced federal regulations research.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Capability to function effectively as a team member with government and military personnel.

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, along with excellent organizational abilities.

• High level of attention to detail in documentation and reporting tasks.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and methodologies.

• Possession of an active Secret Clearance.
