Senior Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Install and uphold Growth Direct systems to fulfill or surpass customer expectations.

• Execute successful installations at both new and existing client locations.

• Complete regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks punctually, achieving 100% compliance.

• Provide reliable and trustworthy service for emergency customer repairs according to service levels established by the Warranty or Service Contract, ensuring 100% adherence.

• Complete all necessary documentation within departmental objectives at a rate of 100% (including Service & Expense reports and SFDC requirements).

• Finish all required training promptly to satisfy Quality standards.

• Cultivate a sound understanding of industry practices and company policies.

• Assist in the new instrument Sales Process by conducting site inspections.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum KōtōSenmonGakkō (Kosen) mechatronics degree or equivalent military experience.

• Experience with mechanical systems that include pneumatic and servo-controlled mechanisms.

• Hands-on experience with software-controlled instruments.

• Proven experience in ISO or GMP regulated environments within the life sciences sector.

• Knowledge of computer networking.

• Prior experience as a field engineer with a strong grasp of professional customer interaction is essential.

• Solid understanding of the FSE role to mentor and develop junior FSEs.

• Extensive knowledge of procedures to effectively contribute to updates and improvements in processes.
