This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
• Create and sustain integrated EPC schedules from the preconstruction phase through project execution.
• Facilitate collaboration across PV, battery storage, high voltage, and services business units.
• Guide and mentor assigned schedulers.
• Contribute to the company's comprehensive schedule management training curriculum.
• Take part in company onboarding aligned with project controls objectives.
• Develop and manage realistic EPC project schedules utilizing P6.
• Examine drawings and contracts to formulate EPC schedules.
• Conduct quantity take-offs to determine activity durations.
• Consult with engineering, procurement, project management, field teams, owners, and consultants.
• Ensure that schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and practical durations.
• Participate in project coordination and owner meetings.
• Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporate actuals, and track critical path deviations.
• Suggest corrective actions based on schedule assessments.
• Communicate schedule updates to project teams and the scheduling manager.
• Conduct what-if analysis across integrated schedules.
• Lead internal and external meetings to identify solutions for schedule mitigation.
• Maintain delay logs and contract information, including LD exposure, utilizing custom P6 reports.
• Monitor progress using Sunscreen software and validate it against schedule updates.
• Maintain and disseminate weekly regional project status reports.
• Visit job sites to foster relationships and understand site-specific details.
• Train personnel in scheduling practices.
• Assist business development and owners in evaluating and enhancing project schedules.
• Support P6 database maintenance and reporting initiatives.
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction scheduling.
• Previous scheduling experience in an EPC environment is essential.
• High proficiency and experience in using P6 software are required.
• Strong capability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of construction-related Critical Path Method scheduling.
• Strong familiarity with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, encompassing business writing and a professional telephone demeanor.
• Reliability, dependability, and adaptability.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
