Senior Field Applications Specialist – Chemistry, Immunoassay

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Validate new installations of Chemistry and Immunoassay instruments to fulfill Beckman Coulter and customer specifications.

• Prepare clients for and execute instrumentation validation studies, which include instrument setup, calibration, precision testing, and method comparisons.

• Work closely with customer Key Operators during validation to reinforce their training and confirm their readiness.

• Address operational and performance inquiries in accordance with specifications and regulatory standards.

• Offer both onsite and remote phone support for assay- and QC-related inquiries.

• Provide onsite training for the correct operation of instrumentation.

• Collaborate with Tech Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree with a minimum of 3+ years of combined experience in laboratory/diagnostic instrumentation or a related field.

• In-depth understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare sector, particularly focusing on the laboratory regulatory landscape.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 95% via flying and/or driving, including overnight accommodations.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to frequently lift, move, slide, raise, and/or position up to 50 lbs.

• Capability to stand, walk for extended periods, sit, squat, kneel, ascend and descend stairs, and reach with arms and hands.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.

• Preferred: Experience in Medical Laboratory Science.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Standard Laboratory Management Practices, including quality control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, COLA).
