This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collect essential information and requirements, establish priorities, and prepare work for estimation.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs for materials and labor to create precise production estimates.
• Review construction drawings, interpret specifications, and ensure accurate cost projections for each elevation.
• Formulate detailed construction budgets by examining construction plans, updating specifications, and identifying costs associated with each project phase.
• Assess offers to purchase, cost modifications, additions, and site requirements, ensuring alignment with budget constraints.
• Acquire bids from vendors and subcontractors, specify materials, identify qualified subcontractors, and negotiate pricing.
• Maintain cost keys and price masters by updating information and resolving cost discrepancies through data collection and analysis.
• Generate special reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing cost data and project trends.
• Uphold high-quality service by following organizational standards and procedures.
• Ensure seamless communication among corporate, division, and local teams by documenting and conveying actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and standards by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and engaging in relevant professional societies.
• Collaborate closely with Project Management to develop proposals, coordinate with Construction Management on production rates, schedule milestones, and job sequencing.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with 8+ years preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in budgeting and documentation.
• Experience in vendor relationship management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Knowledge of Construction Scheduling.
