This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Guide and mentor a high-performing team of Data Scientists, offering technical support and fostering their professional growth.
• Manage the complete lifecycle of ML models—from data exploration and prototyping to deployment and ongoing monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to convert intricate business challenges into actionable data science initiatives.
• Uphold high standards for code quality, documentation, and model validation; perform thorough peer reviews.
• Spearhead the design and evaluation of A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to assess the impact of new features.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure our data pipelines and infrastructure facilitate rapid model iteration.
• Convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that data insights inform daily business decisions.
• Over 7 years of experience in Data Science, with a minimum of 1–2 years in a formal or informal leadership capacity (e.g., Lead Data Scientist or People Manager).
• Strong expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
• High-level proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience with large-scale datasets and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Background in B2B, marketplace, travel, or e-commerce sectors is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to connect technical execution with business impact.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a quantitative discipline (CS, Stats, Math, Physics) is an advantage.
