This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Accountable for enhancing the functionality and operational effectiveness of Information Systems through expertise in Epic Applications.
• Conduct intermediate to advanced analysis, design, configuration, and implementation tasks.
• Ensure the operational efficiency of assigned Epic applications and integrated technologies.
• Provide advanced analysis, consultation, complex problem-solving, collaboration, and application support to users.
• Contribute to system training initiatives.
• Support and optimize Memorial Hermann’s Epic ASAP application.
• Oversee configuration, maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, optimization, and the implementation of new features.
• Deliver expert-level assistance for complex issues.
• Epic ASAP Certification is highly preferred.
• Consideration will also be given to candidates with Epic Clinical Documentation or Ambulatory Certification.
• Experience in supporting Epic applications, particularly within Emergency Department workflows.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven accountability, ownership, and initiative in work.
• A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Epic upgrades, optimization, and enhancement projects.
• Capability to support on-call rotations and effectively manage competing priorities.
• Education: An Associate's degree is preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Epic Certification is mandatory.
• A minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in large corporate systems development and implementation activities in various Healthcare Information Systems (MIS), or relevant experience in system analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation, or a combination of MIS and knowledge of hospital operations is required.
• Previous experience with Epic or other Health Information Systems is essential.
• Experience in resolving complex problems.
• Experience in assisting fellow Analysts.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Epic application support, development tools, and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and technical aptitude.
• Good planning and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
• A demonstrated history of growth in leadership abilities.
