Senior Enterprise Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the technical sales process, which includes discovery, solution design, and delivering engaging product demonstrations.

• Simplify complex technical ideas into significant use cases for both technical engineers and C-level executives.

• Act as the subject matter expert and primary API security authority for clients, internal teams, and partners.

• Employ a consultative approach to develop solutions and address challenges related to next-generation security transformation.

• Serve as the technical liaison for clients, ensuring their success and satisfaction.

• Collect customer requirements and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

• Share Akamai's API security vision and best practices at industry conferences, webinars, and customer workshops.

• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering teams to foster alignment and continually enhance the customer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or a similar role in cybersecurity or API-related domains.

• Strong understanding of APIs, API gateways, web application firewalls (WAF), and best practices in API security.

• Expertise in internet technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and RESTful APIs.

• Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures.

• Experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• Strong presentation skills to clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
