• Lead a high-performing team of engineers, including employees, internal contractors, and external contractors, to deliver impactful features and enhancements to our core services and systems.

• Balance managing current operations, foundational work, and new initiatives to ensure sustainable long-term execution.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, system bottlenecks, and process inefficiencies that affect team productivity and outcomes.
• Promote informed decision-making by gathering diverse perspectives and balancing customer value with overarching business objectives.
• Advocate for engineering best practices, including architectural quality, operational excellence, and alignment with technical strategy.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in managing mixed workforce models, including full-time employees, internal contractors, and external contractors.
• Strong emphasis on people management, with experience dedicating the majority of time to coaching, development, and team enablement rather than individual contributions.
• Experience overseeing the complete software development lifecycle with a focus on results, quality, and team well-being.
• Proven ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity while maintaining team focus and morale.
• A successful history of building, hiring, and developing diverse engineering teams across a range of skill levels.
• Experience in setting technical direction and making architectural trade-offs in collaboration with senior management.
