This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct and assist with thorough grid integration analyses for significant load facilities within MISO and PJM.
• Oversee transmission injection procedures and execute load deliverability evaluations to maintain grid stability and capacity.
• Develop strategies for Points of Interconnection (POIs) in response to evolving business demands and shifting regulatory frameworks.
• Play a role in the technical growth of the team by sharing knowledge and best practices related to grid integration and navigating ISO/RTO environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create technical specifications and assist Business Development with the technical components of project proposals.
• Identify POIs that align with our business development objectives while proactively addressing grid code compliance and adjustments in transmission topology.
• Master's degree in Power Systems with over 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree coupled with more than 7 years of experience in Power Systems.
• Extensive experience in grid planning, system modeling, and compliance studies related to grid codes.
• Strong familiarity with MISO/SPP transmission topology and methodologies for load interconnection.
• Capacity to think creatively to pinpoint POIs that provide optimal interconnection routes for large-scale loads.
• Exceptional skills in technical report writing and verbal communication.
• Experience with additional ISO/RTO markets (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, WECC, SERC).
• Proficient in power system simulation tools such as PowerWorld Simulator, ETAP, TSAT, or ASPEN OneLiner.
• Basic knowledge of scripting languages like R or Python for data analysis and process automation.
