This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Design, implement, and sustain enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, cloud, and data center networking solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and propose enhancements for network performance, resilience, scalability, and security.
• Develop and uphold enterprise network standards, design documentation, and operational procedures.
• Assess emerging technologies and suggest strategic advancements.
• Ensure that solutions are in alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity mandates, and operational best practices.
• Act as the technical lead for intricate infrastructure projects and network modernization efforts.
• Oversee planning, implementation, testing, migration, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate activities with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Server, IAM, Site Services, and business stakeholders.
• Manage vendor partnerships and third-party implementation tasks.
• Offer technical guidance during planning, budgeting, and business case formulation.
• Provide Level 3/4 support for complex networking challenges.
• Lead root cause analysis for significant incidents.
• Propel continuous improvement through monitoring, automation, and lifecycle management.
• Create operational documentation and runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support and critical incident response.
• Design and maintain secure network architectures for corporate and government settings.
• Implement network access control and security technologies including Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Cisco Umbrella, MFA, and NAC.
• Ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST, CIS Controls, and FIPS.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Mentor Network Engineers and provide technical direction.
• Review designs, implementation strategies, and change requests.
• Advocate for engineering standards and best practices.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and documentation.
• Engage in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Over 8 years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
• Proven leadership in complex infrastructure projects, cloud networking, and regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Cisco ISR/ASR, Cisco SD-WAN, Aruba CX, Aruba Wireless, and HPE Networking.
• Familiarity with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRF, QoS, MPLS, VPN, Multicast, and high availability.
• Experience with Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Cisco Umbrella, TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, PKI, MFA, and Zero Trust.
• Background in AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and hybrid networking.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Cisco DNA Center, Aruba Central, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Wireshark, and Git.
• Preferred certifications include Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Aruba Certified Professional, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Palo Alto PCNSE.
