Cloud Infrastructure Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Create and execute a scalable, secure, cloud-native infrastructure framework that supports WHDH’s data platform.

• Design and sustain automated, elastic environments capable of ingesting, harmonizing, storing, and delivering extensive structured and unstructured health datasets.

• Develop and oversee secure, automated CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows, application code, and infrastructure deployments.

• Implement best practices for DevSecOps, which include automated vulnerability scanning, secret management, and compliance-as-code.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and automated environments.

• Proficiency in cloud-native platform orchestration (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience in designing secure CI/CD deployment pipelines, automation workflows, and robust infrastructure integration frameworks.

• Familiarity with healthcare or biomedical research data environments and relevant regulatory security compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
