Senior Engineer, Industrial Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and configuration of automation and SCADA solutions based on WinCC OA.

• Facilitate the integration of SCADA systems with PLCs, field devices, and industrial networks.

• Engage in system testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and validation activities.

• Troubleshoot issues related to automation, PLCs, SCADA, and communication, with support from senior engineers.

• Create and update technical documentation, including configurations, logs, and test records.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

• Adhere to engineering standards, quality processes, and best practices.

• Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of automation systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2.5 years of overall experience.

• Familiarity with Siemens WinCC OA, SCADA, and Industrial Automation systems.

• Basic experience in PLC Programming and System Integration.

• Knowledge of Industrial Communication Protocols such as OPC, Modbus, and Profinet.

• Basic scripting abilities and programming knowledge in languages like Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar.

• Understanding of Industrial Networking and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

• Experience in supporting testing, commissioning, validation, and troubleshooting processes.

• Preferred experience in the Water & Wastewater, Chemicals, or Food & Beverage domains.

• A strong learning mindset, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
