• Design and develop AI agents and copilots for Enterprise Platforms that streamline joiner, mover, and leaver processes, access requests, troubleshooting, and governance reviews.
• Integrate existing runbooks and policies into AI-driven workflows utilizing internal tools, automation, and conversational interfaces.
• Construct secure data and integration layers for AI by leveraging platform APIs, logs, and internal knowledge resources, including retrieval-augmented patterns when applicable.
• Implement prompts, tools, and orchestration flows with defined guardrails, access controls, approvals, and audit trails to ensure governance is inherently built in.
• Incorporate evaluation, logging, and monitoring to enable testing, rollout, and debugging of AI features as with any other production service.
• Utilize AI and event-driven patterns to enhance lifecycle automation, device baselines, and deprovisioning while adhering to security and compliance standards.
• Develop self-service experiences and enablement materials so employees and support teams can address common IT needs and inquiries without escalation.
• Oversee Tier 3 incidents in your designated areas and incorporate incident learnings back into automations, agents, runbooks, and governance policies.
• Mentor engineers in AI design, code structure, and evaluation, contributing to the development of standards and patterns for AI and automation efforts within Enterprise Platforms.
• Collaborate with Security, GRC, IT Service Delivery, AI Enablement, and platform owners to identify high-value AI use cases and implement them safely and efficiently.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in platform or systems engineering with accountability for complex, interconnected systems and a strong preference for automation over manual processes.
• Deep understanding of code structures, APIs, and integration patterns, and the impact of changes in one system on others.
• Familiarity with large language models and practical AI application design, including prompts, tools, guardrails, and evaluation methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in creating or managing AI or automation workflows that interface with enterprise platforms.
• Capability to read and analyze code and automation frameworks, collaborating effectively with engineers on implementation specifics.
• Strong grasp of identity and access concepts, including SSO, MFA, least privilege, provisioning, and device trust.
• Comfortable with observability practices and defining and tracking metrics such as quality, latency, safety, and cost.
• Demonstrated incident and change management practices, including root cause analysis and documented follow-through with evidence of improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that make complex AI and systems topics accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Actual compensation will be determined based on various non-discriminatory factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
• In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for bonus or incentive compensation, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
