Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Attend Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings both in-person and through Microsoft Teams.

• Design weapon systems and create engineering drawings, assess tolerance stack-ups, and ensure that geometric dimensioning and tolerances are appropriate for manufacturing processes.

• Collaborate with design engineers to manage changes in the Technical Data Package (TDP).

• Employ CREO, Windchill, and other software tools to facilitate the development and oversight of necessary TDP modifications.

• Create finite element models for structural analysis using ANSYS and/or Abaqus.

• Analyze data from instrumented product tests to confirm the accuracy of analysis results.

• Handle the processing of engineering change proposals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Entry-level position or 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Familiarity with ASME Drawing practices (Y14.3, Y14.100).

• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances.

• Proficiency in CAD Modeling and component design using CREO, SolidWorks, or a similar software.

• Experience in Engineering Analysis using ANSYS, ABAQUS, LMS Virtual Lab, or similar tools (FEA for contacting assemblies, bolted connections, non-linear, transient dynamic analysis).

• Competence in programming environments such as MATLAB, Simulink, Labview, Excel VBA, or Python.

• Skills in data processing, analysis, and visualization.

• Understanding of various materials, heat treatment, and coatings.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with welding processes and specifications.

• Experience in preparing Quality Assurance provisions.

• Eligibility to obtain a SECRET clearance and a CAC ID is required.

• Must be a US Citizen and possess a valid driver's license.
