Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for Technology, Infrastructure, and Operations projects that influence company security and enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure the maintenance of applications, systems, networks, and/or telecommunications infrastructure to uphold operational integrity and adhere to best practice guidelines for operational availability.

• Collaborate with all teams to develop and communicate strategic planning, project planning, and ongoing development initiatives for technological solutions.

• Provide third-tier support for the Service Desk and tier-2 support for System Administrators.

• Initiate projects and advise management on technical matters.

• Recognize necessary actions and take initiative without needing to be prompted by the situation.

• Engage with departmental personnel to guarantee the effective deployment of technologies.

• Act as a technical resource for departmental and company-wide IT solutions.

• Maintain expertise in relevant company management software, architectures, and telecommunications products and services.

• Assist and collaborate with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff on project efforts to meet implementation plans and timelines.

• Comprehend the quality improvement process, develop new processes and documentation, and achieve desired outcomes with minimal effort.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or relevant technology certifications in networking, systems, or other related areas is required.

• Four to eight years of experience in implementing systems and networking environments within a large managed setting is necessary.

• Additional years of relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.

• Proficiency in current Microsoft operating environments, particularly with M365 technologies, AVD and Cloud PC technologies, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online is needed.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for consulting with management, business partners, and vendors.

• Project management skills, with a proven ability to work efficiently in small, interactive teams comprising both technical and non-technical associates.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects with differing priorities to successful completion.
