Senior Embedded Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and uphold components of the FADEC software platform (HAL, middleware, RTOS integration).

• Create embedded C software for real-time engine control systems.

• Establish and oversee software requirements, including decomposition and traceability (DO-178C).

• Lead architectural and design review sessions across engineering teams.

• Provide support for multi-core processors, deterministic scheduling, and fault-tolerant systems.

• Propel integration and testing strategies (SIL, HIL, and hardware testing).

• Develop and enhance automated testing and static analysis frameworks (VectorCAST, Parasoft, etc.).

• Assist with CI/CD pipelines in a regulated aerospace setting.

• Collaborate with systems, controls, hardware, and safety teams.

• Advocate for reusable software platforms across various programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in embedded software development.

• Extensive experience with FADEC or engine control systems.

• Expertise in C for real-time embedded systems.

• Familiarity with DO-178C or similar safety-critical standards.

• Experience in software architecture or platform-level design.

• Knowledge of RTOS or real-time embedded systems.

• Understanding of Agile and DevOps practices in regulated environments.

• Proficient in tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
