Senior EDI Consultant – Technical Lead Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for assigned projects, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to ensure timely progress.

• Serve as a technical expert and reliable advisor, assisting clients and project teams in navigating EDI best practices, compliance, and governance.

• Collaborate with project managers to create and implement detailed project plans, ensuring effective communication, timely updates, and the accomplishment of key milestones.

• Facilitate blue-printing workshops with customers to gather business requirements and translate them into technical implementations.

• Continually explore opportunities for process enhancement and innovation within EDI projects, providing measurable business benefits.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, standards, and the comprehensive execution of EDI implementation projects.

• Strong technical and business acumen regarding EDI systems, mapping, and integration with major ERP platforms.

• Experience with business processes across various industries (such as CPG, Retail, FMCG, Manufacturing, Automotive, Logistics, Finance).

• Advanced understanding of data integration with ERP systems (including SAP and Microsoft Dynamics).

• Extensive expertise in EDI standards and communication protocols.

• Proven experience in onboarding trading partners, establishing secure communication setups, and managing both inbound and outbound EDI transactions.

• Dedication to training and supporting client teams to ensure successful adoption and ongoing system efficiency.
