This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and expand a high-impact growth channel.
• Develop and implement a top-tier SEM strategy across key and emerging platforms (Google, Bing, Shopping, YouTube, app acquisition, etc.).
• Oversee and optimize a 9-figure SEM budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to enhance revenue and contribution margin.
• Create clear performance frameworks that link SEM directly to business results (LTV, CAC, payback, operating income).
• Spearhead automation and AI-driven transformation.
• Identify and introduce opportunities to minimize manual tasks through automation and tools.
• Serve as the strategic leader for AI/ML integration within SEM, encompassing bidding, creative generation, query expansion, and performance enhancement.
• Develop systems and processes that empower the team to function more efficiently, with greater leverage and better decision-making.
• Propel growth beyond advertising.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, and Lifecycle teams to enhance landing page performance, conversion rates, and onboarding processes.
• Identify and capitalize on opportunities to optimize the entire acquisition funnel, beyond just media efficiency.
• Shape go-to-market strategies for new categories and products, ensuring early and effective SEM integration.
• Build and lead a world-class team.
• Mentor, lead, and expand a high-performing SEM team (from managers to directors).
• Set clear operational rhythms, performance expectations, and development pathways.
• Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive experimentation and insights.
• Create a comprehensive testing roadmap covering bidding, creative, landing pages, and funnel optimization.
• Utilize data to uncover growth opportunities and prioritize the most impactful initiatives.
• Regularly communicate performance, insights, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Engage in cross-functional leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Growth, Product, Operations, Business Development, and Medical teams.
• Ensure SEM insights contribute to the overall company strategy, including pricing, packaging, and positioning.
• Act as a key stakeholder in the company-wide growth planning.
• Over 10 years of experience in performance marketing with extensive knowledge in SEM.
• Proven success in managing large SEM budgets ($20M+ annually) with strong ROI results.
• Demonstrated capability in driving incremental revenue and efficiency improvements at scale.
• Experience in implementing automation, scripting, or AI/ML solutions within paid media processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to correlate channel metrics to broader business outcomes.
• Experience in influencing product, UX, and lifecycle strategies to enhance conversion and retention.
• Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing senior team members.
