This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Define and refine the GMAO capability strategy along with a multi-year roadmap.
• Create a framework to evaluate the progress and impact of capability implementation.
• Align priorities among Business Units (BUs), International Business Units (IBU), and GMAO stakeholders.
• Facilitate governance forums for decision-making, prioritization, and performance monitoring.
• Identify key improvement priorities and formulate actionable plans.
• Act as the primary contact for GMAO capabilities among hubs, affiliates, and global teams.
• Oversee the global rollout of medical capabilities through governance forums.
• Ensure the execution of capability deep-dives, self-assessments, and subsequent actions.
• Identify and prioritize initiatives for capability deployment and advancement.
• Lead the Hub Capability Lead community of practice to promote best-practice sharing.
• Guide training priorities and facilitate access to learning resources.
• Empower BU, US, and IBU teams to establish and optimize their processes.
• Identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities across capability delivery processes among teams.
• Design and coordinate initiatives for optimizing operating models and core business processes.
• Communicate progress, insights, and strategic direction to senior stakeholders.
• Identify and plan medical tasks from newly acquired ventures according to their asset development stage.
• Assess GMAO capacity for new ventures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate the impact of organizational changes.
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
• Drive prioritization, trade-off decisions, capability adoption, measurable impact, and visibility of the roadmap.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Lilly will not provide support for or sponsor work authorization or visas.
• MBA preferred.
• Proven ability to think strategically and shape strategic thinking.
• Proven ability to manage highly complex and occasionally ambiguous tasks.
• Proven ability to challenge the status quo and influence across functions.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without being the subject matter expert.
• Proven ability to communicate succinctly with senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to drive strategy from conception to execution and action.
• Proven ability to surface, challenge, and clarify complex issues with strategic insight and organizational impact.
• Previous experience in capability development, impact assessment, and process optimization.
• Previous experience working with affiliates and in medical affairs.
• Previous experience in building communities of practice.
