📋 Description

• Define and uphold key performance indicators (KPI) hierarchies and north star metrics throughout the organization.

• Create standardized measurement frameworks for critical initiatives such as growth, retention, product, and channels.

• Collaborate with leadership to convert business objectives into precise success metrics, guardrails, and OKR alignment.

• Ensure that all significant initiatives are characterized by explicit success metrics, KPI structures, and measurement plans prior to implementation.

• Establish and maintain enterprise metric governance, detailing ownership, definitions, and change management protocols.

• Assign clear accountability for metric integrity across various teams and systems.

• Act as the central authority for metric definitions and measurement standards within the organization.

• Guarantee consistent application of metric definitions across all reporting, planning, and decision-making processes.

• Design measurement outputs focused on decision-making rather than mere visibility.

• Construct KPI trees and diagnostic frameworks that facilitate root-cause analysis and actionable insights.

• Translate performance data into clear narratives, trade-offs, and recommendations for leadership.

• Decrease dependency on custom analyses by developing reusable frameworks and standardized logic.

• Collaborate closely with Data Engineering leadership to ensure alignment between measurement frameworks and the underlying data architecture and platform capabilities.

• Embed measurement frameworks within core data models and systems.

• Transition the organization from dashboard-centric reporting to more agile and dynamic insight delivery.

• Partner in the adoption of modern technologies (AI, automation, self-service interfaces) to enhance the speed and accessibility of insights.

• Clearly define and prioritize measurement use cases to guide technology investments.

• Introduce self-service measurement experiences that reduce dependency on analyst-driven workflows.


⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in analytics, measurement, or data strategy roles, progressing into senior leadership positions.

• A background in eCommerce is necessary; experience in D2C, subscription, or multi-channel businesses (eCommerce, Amazon, retail, B2B) is preferred.

• Familiarity with modern analytics ecosystems, including BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI), marketing and product analytics platforms (e.g., CDPs, attribution, experimentation), and emerging technologies (automation, self-service, AI), with an emphasis on moving beyond dashboard-centric reporting.

• 6+ years of experience in people management, encompassing hiring, coaching, and succession planning.

• Strategic and systems-oriented mindset, capable of linking business goals to measurement design.

• Demonstrated experience in establishing measurement frameworks and governance in environments that lack standardization.

• Proven ability to drive adoption and enforce standards among cross-functional stakeholders.

• Experience in analytics, measurement, or data strategy within a high-growth context.

• Strong executive communicator, adept at simplifying complexity into actionable steps.

• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster alignment.

• Proficient in KPI design, experimentation, and performance diagnostics.

• Experience in implementing modern analytics capabilities that enhance the speed and accessibility of insights.

• Comfortable establishing structure in ambiguous environments.

• Preferred expertise in marketing measurement (attribution, incrementality, CAC/LTV).

• Experience supporting Annual Operating Plans (AOP), OKRs, and long-range planning is preferred.
