Senior Director, Analyst – Technology-Driven Strategy and Strategic Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation of impactful, technology-driven enterprise, IT, and AI strategy insights.

• Simplify complex technical areas into clear, actionable guidance for decision-making.

• Provide insights and advisory services tailored for C-level executives.

• Formulate distinctive positions regarding emerging technologies.

• Develop and deliver engaging presentations and written materials.

• Continuously monitor and predict market trends.

• Conduct thorough reviews and provide actionable feedback on client strategic planning documents.

• Perform in-depth analyses to uncover the root causes of client challenges.

• Exhibit thought leadership in shaping insights positions across a team of analysts.

• Offer clients and prospects practical advice.

• Create and present high-value materials for Gartner events.

• Assist BTI and Sales with market insights and client engagement.

• Establish credibility as an industry expert.

• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions.

• Mentor and guide junior team members.

• Maintain a client-centric approach while encouraging clients to leverage Gartner insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of relevant industry or field experience.

• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in enterprise (business) strategy, IT Strategy, and AI Strategy.

• Solid technical background in AI architecture, engineering, application development, and infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience in leading or advising technology-driven business transformation initiatives.

• Ability to convert deep technical insights into strategic, decision-ready guidance for CIOs, C-suite leaders, and boards.

• Practical experience collaborating with senior IT leaders.

• Excellent organizational skills; capable of working under tight deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical and presentation abilities.

• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale forums.

• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams.
