This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Generate innovative, thought-provoking, and highly impactful insights centered on cybersecurity and AI within security market trends, growth strategies, and leadership practices for small and midsize providers.
• Interact directly with Tech CEOs through virtual and in-person meetings, Gartner conferences, and industry events to tackle strategic challenges and offer customized recommendations.
• Formulate actionable frameworks and best practices that assist Tech CEOs in expediting decision-making and execution in areas such as threat intelligence, compliance, and product innovation.
• Examine and forecast market changes in cybersecurity technologies (e.g., AI-driven security, cloud security, zero trust) and competitive dynamics.
• Present compelling presentations and thought leadership content for Gartner events, client briefings, and professional associations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Gartner’s Insights community to influence research agendas and disseminate provocative ideas that shape the cybersecurity market.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a Graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity leadership roles (e.g., Tech CEO or senior executive within a cybersecurity provider).
• Experience in small or mid-size technology providers.
• Demonstrated executive presence; capable of establishing credibility with executives and other stakeholders immediately.
• Strong organizational skills; able to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables.
• Proven excellence in research and writing capabilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical and presentation abilities; adept at engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; capable of applying patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to client challenges.
• Strong communicator who can explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale speaking engagements.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area, as well as the interplay within that market.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agile and skilled at navigating highly matrixed environments.
• Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
