Senior Director Analyst, AI and Software Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, analyze, and forecast trends and innovations within software engineering.

• Keep track of the competitive environment surrounding software engineering tools and solutions.

• Produce high-quality research reports and content that establishes thought leadership.

• Provide strategic advice to senior executives through direct interactions.

• Create and present valuable presentations at Gartner events and client meetings.

• Establish external credibility to represent Gartner's research and insights.

• Offer sales support to engage potential clients and existing customers.

• Actively engage in discussions focused on innovation and research.

• Conduct thorough analyses to identify client requirements and influence strategic direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience in the field or industry.

• Proven experience in leading a software engineering organization.

• In-depth understanding of software architecture principles for SaaS platforms.

• Current knowledge of AI development tools.

• Ability to demonstrate executive presence and build credibility with executives and stakeholders.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to work under tight deadlines.

• Excellent research and writing skills.

• Strong analytical and presentation abilities, with the capacity to engage clients effectively.

• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis, able to defend conclusions against client challenges.

• Effective communicator capable of simplifying complex concepts.

• Subject matter expert comfortable delivering presentations at engagements.

• Strong business and financial understanding.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the global competitive landscape.
