This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design and implement the enterprise AI Security strategy, operational model, governance framework, and multi-year roadmap.
• Develop AI security standards, policies, reference architectures, and secure development requirements.
• Oversee AI security risk management, encompassing model governance, third-party AI evaluations, AI inventory, threat modeling, and regulatory adherence.
• Build and lead the AI Security team, including recruitment, mentoring, budgeting, strategic planning, and operational execution.
• Collaborate with technology, architecture, engineering, legal, privacy, procurement, and business leaders to facilitate secure enterprise AI adoption.
• Supervise AI security architecture reviews, secure design approvals, and security assessments.
• Stay informed about emerging AI threats, vulnerabilities, adversarial AI methods, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
• Formulate acceptable AI usage standards and model governance processes.
• Establish AI security review requirements and methodologies for enterprise AI risk assessments.
• Develop AI security metrics and executive dashboards.
• Represent Information Security in enterprise AI governance committees.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Information Security Officer.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years in progressive cybersecurity leadership roles.
• At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML systems.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Microsoft Azure cloud computing security configuration and management.
• At least 2 years of experience in application security with a focus on AI/ML.
• A minimum of 5 years leading security architecture or engineering teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of LLMs, generative AI, and the model lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, model governance, and adversarial AI/ML.
• Familiarity with NIST AI Risk Management Framework, NIST RMF, NIST Privacy Framework, NIST CSF, ISO27001, ISO 42001, NIST 800 Series, and OWASP GenAI Security Project.
• Proven project management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• CISSP certification is required upon hire.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time.
